Update (7/23/18): Fixed a bug in the formula for Current Annual Contributions. Update (7/20/16): Added the ability to limit Other Retirement Income to a specific number of years (thanks to Ben Martinek). Update (5/5/16): Fixed a bug where the Retirement Income in the table (and chart) referenced inflation rather than the Annual Increase. If you do not have access to ESR and are actively contributing to the NHS Pension Scheme, we will write to you by the end of August 2023 to provide you with your registration information for our new digital platform, My NHS Pension. Non-ESR users (previous access via Gov.UK Verify) If you're able to you should access your annual benefit statement via ESR. You can view your statement in different ways, depending on if you have access to Electronic Staff Record (ESR). Accessing your Annual Benefit Statement (ABS) You can read the early retirement calculator guidance (PDF: 185KB) to help you. The calculator will not estimate 1995 Section benefits for members aged 50 to 55. You’ll need to access your Annual Benefit Statement to use the calculator. The early retirement calculator (Excel: 106KB) shows what to expect if you claim benefits earlier than normal pension age.
