You generally can't share your location on Android with the built-in software. Hit the Share button and select your preferred app from there. You can also tap the little blue dot that shows your location on the map. A menu will pop up, and you can choose the app you want to send your location through, such as Messages or your email. The first is to scroll down in the menu to Share My Location at the bottom.
